A Pitbull was originally bred to hunt wild boar... and they did this in packs all working together. A pack of pitbulls could actually take down a brown bear..

It was man that decided to make the dogs fight each other.... which is not natural.

The fighting started with the roosters.. and roosters do fight each other naturally.. Nature says there can be only one rooster in a hen house.....

Yes I think it is wrong to profit from mans best friend by having them fight each other.

I really believe that ANY KIND OF DOG FIGHTING IS WRONG!!!!!!! I love to watch animal presinct and when they bring in those pit bulls that have been breed to fight - the dogs are the BIG LOSERS. More often than not (unless the dog has NEVER EVER FOUGHT), THESE DOGS ARE PUT DOWN. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!!!!!!!!! THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG - BUT BEEN BREED TO SATISIFY THE OWNERS SICK DESIRES!!!!!!
I live in New Mexico and they FINALLY BANNED THAT AWFUL "SPORT"!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the times the dogs are not cared for. These "owners don't bother to take the dog to the vet. If they are injured they are just pumped full of medicines that completely dulls the pain. These poor dogs are breed to fight to the death!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever been bitten by a dog? It freekin HURTS!
If you were a dog would you want to be bitten all over your body by another dog? What about in the really sensitive places like your nose, your feet, your groin?
Would it be better if you knew your owner would beat you or let you die if you lost the fight?
What about it if he starved or beat you to make you fight?
What about if he put gunpowder and hot pepper in your food to make your stomach hurt so bad you were mad all the time?

Doesn't matter dogs, pitbulls, people or anything else.. Fighting is always wrong. People forcing animals to fight, for their own enjoyment, or to bet on, should be shot.

I'd never do that with one of my pets. But they breed those dogs especially for that. They won't run out of dogs for it - they'll just breed more. Seems kind of crazy to me. At the end you have a dead dog. Atleast if it were a cock fight you'd have a chicken you could cook.
