Should I make a police report on a stolen key? do I report it to my insurance? I don't want my truck to come out stolen. In the morning what can the dealer do? do they re-key the truck or re-program the alarm?

Get another key made and when they are reprogramed at the dealer, the old one will only open the truck but not start the engine. The chip in the new key and reprogram the old second original will not allow the old non reprogramed key to start the engine. Same can be done with the remotes reprogram those too.

Make a report so they are aware of it to the police and where ever they were stolen from like if at school, mall etc...

Ask dealer if they can put in new locks. Where do you park your car during the night? Are you in an apartment area, how far was the place your keys were stolen from and your home? Is your car still at place where your keys stolen from, if so pay the money to get it towed so someone doesn't come back for it.

I would call the police and ask them if they want to make a report of it incase it gets stolen.. and also the nissan dealer would probably have to put all new locks on it, because i dont think you can make a key for locks..(theives could just make keys.. bad for you.! lol) anyway they would probably wanna put new locks on anyway because the theif could just get in anyway. Best of luck with your truck keys :)
