The promise of a better life in jannah inshAllah or Muslims. I don't believe in giving up, Allah (swt) gave everyone the strenghth to get right back up. And I know that the harder I struggle in life, the more mistakes I make, the more I cry I will only be stronger and Allah will guide me through everything and inshAllah open up the doors for me. As far as who has inspired me I would have to give this credit to all the good practicing Muslim Brothers and Sisters out there and even here on R&S that help spread the Word of Allah.
Asalamu-Alaikum

I was poor and I promised myself when I became an adult I would have things worked out so that I would never be hungry again, I would always have shoes that fit properly and I would not ever, ever live with a toothache because I couldn't afford to go to a dentist. Those were my motivators and I have been happy and contented as a grown man.

My inspiration is a local recruiter I met before joining the National Guard, Sgt. Orchard. He's a very Christian man and is solid in his beliefs and telling young men the truth about the military. Its because he was so honest I decided to join.
Otherwise I cannot say God is an inspiration as I don't know Him personally lol. He is my Lord though so I look up to His standards to help me through my trials and tribulations.

Rachel Scott and Cassie Bernell are my role models in life. Both girls were martyred at Columbine high school for their faith, and even though they both came from different backgrounds they both said the same thing on their deathbeds.
Rachel was a Christian almost all her life, while Cassie was into witchcraft, but made a radical turnaround before her death.

My most favorite saying is; "Tough times don't last, only tough people."
If I need an extra boost, I listen to The National Anthem. Read the history behind it and listen to the words. I'm 40, and I still weep w/ joy when I hear The National Anthem.

The relationship that I have with Jesus is what motivates me. Some people say family, and some say their wife. But I say that God does it, it's the best relationship because it's full of motivation and inspiration. There's nothing to compare it with.
