i'm just wondering...every time i see an answer from someone on here, i almost always guess a persons age by if they lean towards the lib or con side of the argument. i know i cant just assume things like that...so i'm asking...what is your age, and do you lean to the left or the right?

In general you'll find most young people are politically liberal and older poeple are conservative. I was more liberal as a young man than I am now.

I think someone once said if you're not liberal as a young person you have no heart; if you're not conservative when you're older you have no mind.

I'm pretty Liberal on some issues, like human rights, protecting the environment, equal pay and equal education.

I'm pretty Conservative on other issues, like maintaining a strong military, being hard on crime, etc.

I would never take from the poor to give to the rich. But on the other hand I don't believe in handouts and think all people should earn their way through life.

I think all people should have a firearm (if they wish) in their home to protect themselves but don't think anyone outside of the military should have machine guns. I believe in hunting (which I do) if you intend to eat what you shoot but am strongly opposed to sport killing for the sake of hanging a trophy on the wall.

I don't believe any man has the right to pass laws that tell a woman what she can or can not do with her body.

You want to put a label on me or guess my age?

I'm a free-thinking Independent, by the way. I work with vets who have adjustment problems. When not doing that I paint and write. And I'm older than you.

57. I'm a libertarian. When Reagan was President I leaned toward the Republicans. But I think the Bushes have turned me against Republicans forever. I used to think the Republican Party had a libertarian wing, but the 2004 election proved that it does not.

22 and I lean towards being a con. I believe in less government, more freedom, even taxes. It is more on the economic side rather than all that abortion, gay marriage stuff. I just think it is too hard to try and mix my faith with politics. I consider myself moderate on some issues and more conservative on others like illegal immigration. And I agree with the dude above me, I am very disappointed with some of our liberties and freedoms that have been sacrificed by this administration.

i won't be able to declare the situation is constrained to liberals. What I in many circumstances see is that persons can not take care of extra desirable than one concept at a time. something that demands concurrently information 2 issues on an identical time easily befuddles distinctive human beings As for the "stimulus" equipment. this is a looting. think of of the incoming Obama administration as a horde of barbarians who merely breached the city partitions and are actually pouring in with rape and pillage on their concepts. think of of the outgoing Bush administration because of the fact the barbarian horde that held the city and is now escaping in the time of the sewers hauling off all the gold and virginal daughters they are able to hold.

As for my age, if I were wine, I'd be a fine wine. A very fine wine (on the way to becoming vinegar :o).

I don't like labels. But, if pushed, I consider myself eclectic in all things (at least, I try to be).

I'm 21 and I am a libertarian. I suppose you could call me a politically incorrect lefty. I don't tend to talk about politics much anymore online though.

26.

Radical left. But I am not so liberal that I tolerate certain beliefs for tolerance's sake. Human rights are of the highest impotence in my belief system. I categorize myself as progressive first and liberal second.
