pray, read the bible, go to church. If you're having trouble, just keep trying. You have to try really hard. Afterall, God is hard to find since he doesn't exist.

I think of all things that are hard for a christian, getting in synch with God is one of the hardest. Why? Because it takes more than knowledge and known faith to do so. You have to learn how to believe in your heart that your soul is also of the Father's, and in that regard you can meditate and make them one.

It sounds corny, but it's what you've gotta do. I've been a christian for 3 years and have only done this once. It takes a lot of practice and faith, and wont be achieved simply by reading a bible or going to church every sunday.

I think that the occurances of this are random and un-forseen. Most of my friends who have gotten in this bonding state did so through a means which they could not at the time identify. Me, my first time was when I was so mad at my dad that I couldn't say anything more to him without it being mean. I went into the grocery store and remembered working my hardest to not explode onto anyone or anything. Eventually, however, I heard a voice say 'I'm here', and I broke out crying right on the spot, in front of everyone.

It was such a strong feeling of love that I was brought into a holy state, and felt as if God's arms were around my shoulders. It seemed as if everything in the world didn't exist, and only bright clouds and the Father's light surrounded me. No, I wasn't hallucinating, or 'tripping out'...it was a moment in euphoria that was so sacred it couldn't have come from the flesh.

Needless to say I quickly forgave my dad, and my bond with God became stronger, even if there is a lot of turbulence in it today.

Once you experience such a thing, it's hard to shake your faith completely.

Seeking God is something we all hopefully keep doing. To have a faith relationship with God doesn't mean you won't have any problems or will always have peace. When I am feeling out of touch with God I try to find time for silence and solitude. I love to be in nature especially. As for forgiveness sometimes we have to accept that we are forgiven, even if the emotion of it doesn't neccessarily follow. We can't live our faith lives only based on emotion. I encourage you to be involved in church.

God doesn't say much, but when He does, it is something you can never ignore.
Firstly, make sure that you are a worthy vessel to hold the grace He is pouring down upon us all.
Secondly, ask Him to help make you a worthy vessel
Thirdly, know that the vessel is poured into with overflowing generousity....

Wait a minute. I forgot the Cup of Bitterness. The deeper you go, the more likely you will encounter this. And when you do...well, let's just say, one word: Apocalypse. The veil will be torn from your eyes.

Let me give you simpler advice: Perseverance. That is all. The rest will follow.

I constantly struggle to get in touch with God. My life is busy, and there is much stress. I am constantly problem solving and trying to respond to the needs of those around me, especially my wife and children.

For me, I try to surrender to God. This might happen though prayer, through taking a long walk, by singing loudly in the car, by walking up to take communion, etc.

Everyone is different (God made us that way). You simply need to find what you can do to create a connection between you and the God who loves you very much. I pray that you will find you way. Remember that you are not alone; most people struggle to connect with God. Also remember: no matter your struggles, God is waiting with open arms for you to return home. Find the way home, and leave everything else to God.

"Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity."

You are to hard on your self. God is always there, even when you don't know He is. If you feel that you can't find God on your own, maybe talking to a preacher that you trust or even a christian that will pray with you. But when you pray, you have to believe in your heart that God hears your prayers. And trust Him to answer them in the best way for you. Go to a quiet place and just have a talk with God. He will here you, and then just think about His love and most of all listen quietly for His answers. Just talk to Him and tell Him how you feel. I hope this will help you. God bless you.

God wants you to know who he is. I want you to consider this: If you want someone to get to know you, what might you do? Would you not tell the person your name? Does God have a name? Many religions answer that his name is God or Lord but those are not personal names. They are titles, just as "king" and "president" are titles. The Bible teaches that God has many titles. "God" and "Lord" are just some of them. However, the Bible teaches that God as a personal name just like you and I do. His name is Jehovah and it can be found in most Bibles at Psalms 83:18. If your Bible translation does not contain this name in this verse it is because Bible translators have proceeded to remove the divine name from this verse as well. However, in the original Bible manuscripts the divine name appeared in it thousands of times. Therefore, God wants you to know his name and use it, he is using the Bible to introduce himself to you. The Bible also says at Acts 17:27 that God is not far off from each one of us." and the Bible also urges us to Draw Close to God , and he will draw close to you, this is located at James 4:8. Has anyone ever taught you how to pray. I want you to try this: When you pray to God use his personal name Jehovah, pour your heart out to him and tell him exactly how you feel, and then, end your pray like this: All these things I ask you in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, Amen. It also wouldn't hurt to pay a visit to the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and ask for a Bible Study. Bible studies are free and they can be conducted at a time and place of your choice. You have nothing to lose I really hope you will give this a try.

We need to keep seeking after God. He is there, loving us even when we cannot feel it. If you are struggling with doubts, please talk to your local pastor about it. There is no shame in doubting. God knows we have doubts. He knows we are "as dust" and need help sometimes
Just believe and trust he is there listening!
1 John 1:9-10 (NRSV) "If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

God always forgives when ask and if you accepted Jesus into your heart

God Bless
The Lord is with you all the time
I pray for you

Seek fellowship with God's people.

To walk with God, you can not be with sin, for God hates sin.
To be free of sin, you need Christ.

Seek a Church, that preach and educate on the base of the Bible, not on opinions of man.

The Church is the body of Christ. Each member of the body has a function. Outside the body, no part can function.

Look at a BBQ-grill; the coals are glowing and producing heat. Remove a piece of coal, and it will become cold, the glowing will die. Alone we can not serve our purpose, but together we can.

We need to know God's will in order to be with Him, The Bible is a wonderful gift, given to us, to reveal His will.

Prayers is a gift of communication, our way to talk with God, you ask, and He will listen. Requests according to His will and character will be answered, unanswered prayers are guidance to us; your are asking outside His will and character.

You need to know about God, to know God.

Let the Holy Spirit do His work in you and you are on your way.

This is why God lovingly gave us A manual to live by and to guide us in our walk of life = The Bible. We cannot live by logic and reasoning alone, so God gave us Truth all in one Holy Book. To know God is to read His Word. Pray to God thru His Son, Jesus who is The Only Way, The Truth and The Life. Accept Jesus as your Personal Savior, and repent of your sins. Forgive others and be willing to obey and follow Jesus. Use the Armor of God (The Bible) in dealing with satan and temptation. Satan uses many things to lure you from Jesus or to convince you that you are not forgiven or are a failure or are doubtful or frustrated. Do not give in to these temptations, these lies. Trust totally in God's Word and be assured that you are in Christ Jesus. If satan tells you lies and reminds you of your past, remind him of his future in the lake of eternal fire!! Strengthen your faith with Spiritual food dailly (God's Word). God/Jesus will never fail you. In Christ's love forever

Read the scriptures. Pray to know it is true. Place yourself in the correct mindset, and you will know what will require repentance. If you think you are in need of repentance, chances are you already know what you've done wrong.

Those most in tune with the Spirit are often those who face the most trials. Don't give up. It's exactly what the adversary wants.
