Quite honestly, I haven't seen all that much effort put forth in the converting of others to Christianity. I have however noted a large effort at proving Christianity to be false...why all the pressure, atheists? You guys work on commision or something?

For the same reason the islamics and the mormans attempt to convert. Each group believes they have the only way to get to heaven. Part of true faith is the drive to share it with other people. The biggest thing is that you believe in a god, which one is your choice. Personally Im considering converting to Buddhism because it happens to be a very peaceful religion.

As Christians we have a relationship with the The ALL Wise God of the universe. He is able to help us to understand things that are beyond what we alone could comprehend. Seeing that life with out Jesus Christ leads to the second death and knowing something of torment we wish to see no one perish because we failed to convey God's love for them. That He sent His only SON Jesus to perish so that a rightness God could declare our debt paid and free us from our Sin's. All it takes is to ask Jesus into you heart and confess to Him you sins. Once you do that be sure to read the Bible and find a church that teaches God's Word to help you to grow into the person He would have you to be.

We were put here to do the will of God. I would hope that no Christian has ever been pushy, mean, or "high and mighty" towards you...because that is not what we are supposed to do. God made you just the same as He made me. He loves us both. In a sense, we are His sheep and we are ...or should be trying to bring the "lost sheep" to the flock. I would suggest that you seek God. God will never dissapoint you, but putting your faith and joy and trust into man or false gods...will fail you miserably every time.

I'm just wondering what kind of weak will someone would have to have about being "further led astray" by this question, especially since it was pretty clear what your question was and you don't have to click it or answer it.
Clearly, we Pagans have a much stronger will--and much more faith in our faith--than do many Christians. We are very much a minority, we don't proselytize yet we get *lots* of unsolicited proselytization, but we "stay crunchy in milk," as my therapist puts it.

I don't. Christianity is truth for me, and my faith makes sense in my life, if you want to hear about my story I'll share it, but I don't think it's my job to "save" anybody." I answer questions by Atheists/non-christians whatever because I think they are either genuinely interested, or because I think they need to be challenged in their assumptions.

...it goes the other way too. If Christianity is optional, why can't we Christians ask a question directed to other Christians without athiests causing an insult party?

Because they think they're right and that they're saving you from hell ,something like that I think. I hate when people try to convert others,it's stupid they already havetheir beliefs and probably won't change.
