I am not religious and have read little of the Bible. I have read Matt. 6 and 7 though and agree with your comment on Christians not being kind. Many of them feel that by going to church they are absolved of the BS they dispense.
I am evil and found that treating people just like they treat others does 2 things. It really piss's them off and gives me a chance to practice my passive evil ways.
Back to Matt. 6 and 7.
6 has the Lords Prayer. The ONLY prayer in the Bible (New Test.). There are Psalms and verses to no end (Old Test) but only 1 actual prayer for Christan's. I have to be right as these were the words of Christ. Ask a thumper how many prayers in his guide book for life has and you will get many different answers and in most case's not even know what Matt. 6 is.
7 is the old "do unto others" The Golden Rule. Getting back to my evil ways I twist it a bit and do what I stated earlier. My premise being if they are acting like an AH and treating people badly then they must expect to be treated the same way.
That's my long agreement to "I think religion can definitely be a tool of evil" comment

I try not to answer your question. But I will. Look my dear child live your life and let others live there's. You have a right to your a-opinion. But not everybody could agree with you. And to honest religion haves nothing to do with it. People live their lives's the way they want too. And about you saying life after .Ask yourself this if I'm here today. I'll be here tomorrow. After all life is life. Yes there is life after . But not the same as this one. Live your life for now. And forget the ignorant-es of our lives. Let god be the judge of that. And to be honest I agree with you to an-extent.Take care and be you.

I won't agree about everything you've stated, but I agree on many points of your Rant. Especially about treating people kindly, no matter their race or religion, etc. And about trying to love one another. As far as the things I don't agree with you on, they become insignificant, in the light of kindness and love.

I think you should analyze your statements before you post them. You call humans ignorant and make the speculation that a lot of Christians are not kind to others. I don't understand why you make judgments in direct opposition to the message you are trying to convey. You need to realize that everyone is a hypocrite regardless of who or what they believe in and get over it. People are generally good and are just trying to lead their lives in whatever way they see fit. There really isn't anything to rant about.

Once again, I will draw from The Sermon on Ethics and Love in the Principia Discordia
Eris's response when asked why there is war and hatred, and confronted with, "Nobody wants it! Everybody hates it!":
"Oh. Well, then stop."
Eris then turns into an Aspirin commercial leaving the Polyfather stranded with his species.
Humanity as a whole doesn't want to stop it. It sucks, but it does seem that we are stranded here with our species.

i totally agree, for one thing i believe in God right but only one supreme being but not in religions, religions are just another way of separating people, its part of a culture and nothing more... being at peace with yourself and others i believe that is what really counts and staying in touch with your needs, nature and your loved ones and try to live in harmony... every thing else like death, hell, heaven, we'll just never really know and does it matter really??? what matters like i said is that you are at peace with yourself and try to make a difference in a world full of selfishness, egocentric people and horror... if you asked me we are in hell, with all the abuse, killings and ugly things happening left and right.
i suggest you turn off the tv news, stop worrying about religion race and start living ur life in the end thats what really matters ur life and how u lived it to the fullest and how u used it to help others or simply be at peace with yourself.... hope this helps

You've brought up really good points. Weither someone believes the way I do or not, I endeavor to treat everyone the way I'd want to be treated. It's not easy, as there are people that will get on my nerves, but that doesn't mean that I should be heartless towards them.

Any one who knows what happens after death is dead and isn't talking. Anyone who professes to know the truth about that is lying. We all get to believe what we want.

what is your question? when you die your spirit will linger behind a bit. Satan will play on ppl's mind with it. you know that satan left heaven with a third of the angels and he is powerful he does evil stuff with ppl's spirit. not all humans are like that. most of us need to stop talking and doing more actons if we really need to see positive changes
