A friend of mine's wife recently had a baby. He had them re-ink her foot while making her prints, put her foot on his arm, then went directly to a tattoo studio to have them tattoo it. It looks great and is such a sweet idea. If your daughter is older, you could find her prints and do it that way. As far as keeping with the angel theme, I agree with the gentleman who mentioned a strong male angel appearing to be holding a baby in his wings, with either a banner or your daughter's name incorporated somehow. That sounds beautiful.

The best thing you can do is choose a reputable artist, discuss your ideas with him/her and allow them to draw you a custom design. I promise you will be so much happier with a one of a kind than anything you can find online. It does help though if you have some pictures for them to use as kind of a guideline, so try googling angels and things of that nature, if you see something you like, print it...take it to the appointment. A good tattoo artist can combine many aspects from many images to suit your liking, or as I said before, draw you a completely custom tattoo.

I don't know if you would be interested in this, nor do I know how old your daughter is, but I had a friend who took his child's handprint to a tattoo parlor, and they tattooed it on his shoulder. You would have to go to a very good artist to have this done, but it is very cool if it is done right.

I know a guy that had a box filled in with black ink, except it had his daughters foot print in it. (The foot print they take at the hospital) The foot print was left skin colored. He had her full name written under it. It looked awesome! So sweet! Or you could leave out the box and just get her foot print in black.

That's so sweet of you.
Perhaps a cute portrait of her when she was a baby and then incorporate wings to it. Or, you can put her name in a special language that means something to you.
There are a lot of examples on this website and you might spark some creativity while scanning them:

Best wishes.
