I think you're confusing God with the Sun. Unless of course the God you're referring to is Apollo. In which case the Sun is God and yes your eyes will explode and your face will melt

No, worse. You would die if you looked upon God's face. No one can look at God and live, according to the Bible. God is too Holy for us to look upon. God appeared to men in the Old Testament in different forms, ie: burning bush, fire by night, cloud by day, etc. Moses' face was hidden by God when God passed by so Moses could not see God's face. God told Moses that Moses could not look upon God's face and live. Someday we who follow God/Jesus will look upon God's face in all His glory in Heaven!! God bless

it says in the Bible that the people who saw the glory of god were stunned and amazed...if they were sinners in His eyes b/c they didn't believe then they were struck dead...as far as i know, no one's face ever fell off...
