I live in Florida and I want to semi-convert my garage into a room. I mainly need to get the central air ducts to shoot air into my garage.

I need to atleast get the room cool some way.

Any help?

Depends on the physical location of AC and garage. ~

You may be overtaxing your central air. The size of most units are chosen for the size of your house. Your best bet is a window unit, cut a hole in the wall, frame it out, and plug it in. There are also units that offer heat as well as a/c but they are expensive and mostly 220. I don't think they are worth the effort and they are heavy. Anyway, by adding the window unit your central air will not be running all the time trying to cool more area than it was meant to. Trust me. The window unit will turn out to be your most economical way to go.

run flex tubing from the unit to the garage thru the attic.
or you may want to add a small attic fan and ceiling fan to your room.
