Yes. Especially since religious faith is so dangerous. Lacking belief in gods is the only logical conclusion.

I don't enjoy speaking out for atheism so much as I feel the need to speak out against ignorance and intolerance. I don't particularly care what people believe if it helps them through life, but I can't stand to see people using religion as an excuse to behave immorally, unethically, or generally in a negative and harmful way.

I am sick of not talking about my atheism to protect the uninformed. It is difficult to be the voice of reason when people are telling me stories oh how their guardian angle or god saved them from something trivial.
The first time I spoke up was when, and I am not making this up, some fool was going on and on about how he prays for a good parking spot every time he goes to Walmart, and god provides him with a great spot. Because, it would seem, that god had nothing better to do than move cars around the parking lot at Walmart so some fat turd could skip his exercise for the day.

It would not additionally be a element of my existence if delusional human beings did not dream up Gods and then use those holy books to tell different a thank you to stay their very own lives. An atheist is in simple terms a default man or woman that lives interior the fabric universe. Believers dream up all this further crap, which could be positive in the event that they might in simple terms save different human beings out of their fable. oftentimes they do contain others of their ideals. Like how the Bible says atheists and gays are abominations and depraved undesirable human beings. Crap like that has no place in civilized society. If basically the religious could take an excellent look interior the mirror and spot what their ideals are particularly coaching. they often see no difficulty pondering atheists to be terrible human beings, with the aid of fact they think of it is precisely what their God needs. in the event that they think of their God wrote the Bible, then they could think of that what's written in it particularly is actual. The Bible makes use of those actual words while describing nonbelievers, filthy, corrupt, none that doeth any good, despicable, abominable, depraved, evil, fools and that all of them should be stoned to demise. The Bible refers to atheists as "darkness" and paints the photograph of an atheist being quite the backside state a man or woman would properly be. what variety of message is that to teach some group of human beings, totally in step with not being waiting to work out the invisible? while that variety of intolerance and hatred is brainwashed into infants in the time of their lives, that isn't any ask your self why atheists get any such undesirable rap. particular many atheists say screw you to the creed that despises them, yet are you able to blame them. the undeniable fact that atheists do not say a peep approximately any respectful and tolerant faith, is information that Christian made their very own mattress while they began with a ideals device that paints atheists with the aid of fact the undesirable men,

stupid question, but thanks for the points.
Next time, ask your teacher to help you form an ACTUAL relevant question. We don't care if you like speaking out for a religion that you follow (yes, honey atheism is a religion. It is because there are so many followers and they speak in unison the same words.)

I believe in God, and to me the Bible makes sense, but I love it when atheist question people about their religions. You guys have great questions that could be answered but too many people have false doctrines so they get all pissed off! Funny stuff!
At least you all have real approaches to the word of God, may all your questions be answered logically and reasonably, because to me it all fits, but I respect the fact that you have problems with so many religions, I would to after hearing so many fairy tales.
But as a word of encouragement, look to your history books, you can not only weed out the garbage, but you can find Biblical history along with man's history. That's what convinced me.

I do because I think it's important for people who are questioning religion to have people to talk to. If it wasn't for people like Richard Dawkins I would still be confused and upset all the time. I didn't believe and so felt guilty all the time because I had no clue what else there was.

i enjoy debating why i don't believe, with people who do. they usually get all red faced and angry when i point out some of the ridiculous notions that they so blindly believe...they remind me of poor little lambs on their way to slaughter.
but at the same time, they are intitled to their beliefs just as i am.
