Atheism being a religion would truly ruin its point, wouldn't it? Especially were it to have a "sacred text" that defined what it's "believers" were to believe in. The whole point of atheism is non-belief, so this would just be counter-productive, to say the least.

The atheist manifesto? I dunno.
BUT, atheism is not a religion...the only thing that we all agree on is the lack of a god or gods. Other than that, we come with various beliefs, backgrounds, and morals.
