I share a room with my sister. We each have a desk. My other sister's desk has to stay in our room also. That is why there are three desks.

I can attempt to help with this one..I've dabbled in the decorating field..First off, it's all about organization! Get rid of the obvious things you don't need, trash, things you'll never use, etc. You can buy small organizers that save space at Target, or any container store. Also, lighter walls seem to make rooms recede and seem bigger, and a large mirror helps to give the sense of volume to the room. Keep your molding and borders the same color as your walls and make sure your room is well-lit. Darkness tends to build to the sense of crowding. Hope I helped!

To get a feeling of space mirror one wall-at least. If that's not possible paint a light color and use semi-gloss paint so it is reflective as well as easy to clean. Saw a neat thing at Sam's. They had a desk set up and then had the bed set up over it like a top bunk. Or maybe get rid of one of the desks assuming there are two people using this room and slide the drawers under the bed for storage. Don't be afraid to do unusual things like use the back of the desk as a headboard, have a light on top so you can work at the desk or read in bed. You can tack whatever you like on the back of the desk to make you feel at home. Sure sounds like a college dorm.

Are there 2 people sleeping in the room? If not, get rid of one bed. Why 3 desks? do 3 people use them simultaneously or could one be shared? Drawers should be ok and needed to hold clothes and stuff.....

Do you have room to put one of the desks into the closet? Make sure the pathway thru your room is clear. Also the colors that you paint your room could make your room look larger. Make sure there are no borders around your room. Paint it neutral colors such as tan or off white. Good Luck

If your are not rooming with anyone get rid of one bed. If you don't need three desks get rid of one or two. Use corner desks with shelves. Go lap top use bean bags (saves space) Like bunks stack em :}
