Yea.
The problem is that we do not see any effects that cannot be explained away in some other ways. Take the sudden death of bees, Global Warming will kill insects that are not able to adapt. Some will move to higher elevations and others move towards the Poles.
Do the death of bees prove anything? Not yet.
Another insect, a fly, moved from Mexico to California and may end the tomato plants in the state. Does that prove Global Warming? No. Either of this events can be explained in other ways.
Does Katrina prove anything? No. Does the fact that the longest daily sequence of days with temperatures over 100 degrees in Sacramento happened last year (11 days) prove anything? No.
But, what if you learn that some types of penguins lost half their population last year, polar bear populations dwindle and the ice in Greenland is melting twice as fast as measured a few years ago (one cubic mile of ice melts every week)?
Does that begin to look like "detroying our environment"?
Certainly the wildfire season started early this year and the smoke from Florida-Gerorgia fires can be seen easily in satellite photos. How many fires would convince you?
How about the people that depend on water from glaciers, about 1.5 Billion people in Central Asia. If we in the US do not believe it is happening now, do you think they believe in Global Warming? My guess is that most of them have not even heard of Global Warming. I am sure when they run out of water it will be a shocking surprise, no, better make that, a killing surprise. They should be building dams, digging wells, relocating people to higher elevations.
By, the way, we are not building dams in California, either.
We are not even planning to build any dams, now, but wait for the Presidential Primaries in February, much will change, maybe enough. Hope is free and healing.

Lol, of course there is global warming, just 40,000 years ago there were glaciers covering much of north america and europe and mammoths and sabre toothed tigers roamed around like stray cats. The proper question is how much are we affecting it. Recently it was discovered that mars has gained an average of something like 7 degrees over the past 30-40 years. We are in the beginning of a sunspot solar activity high trent expected to peak over the next 5 or so years, while it is politically correct to blame fossil fuels i do believe they are going to add to the problem. The tree huggers want everyone to believe we're all to blame but the simplest reason for the world warming is look up at noon, the sun, maybe being from texas and remembering frying eggs on the road for fun during the summer..

YUPZZ... i believe both of them...
We are destroying our environment... Don't you see that every year we lost our forest?? My country, Indonesia, has the highest number of missing forest because of irresponsible people... and, trash... that's a big problem... In some countries, there are so many people littering... Maybe they are too poor to have a trash bin... Wild hunter... they still kill animals even though the government doesn't allow them...

about global warming, i doubt it because of human... i think global warming will be happened with or without human. In the past we can see that ice age is over because of global warming.. and some researches show that the poles used to be a green place.. may be it will be happened again...
but, in my point of view, we, the human, make the global warming worse... Now, it will be a big problem because we has made dangerous chemical gas or liquid, like CFC, that make the global warming getting worse and faster than we predict...

This is a topic that not every one is going to agree on. From the research I've done the people of this earth are only causing about 3-4% of all pollution. Most greenhouse gases are emitted from the earth itself! Such as rotting plant debris, rotting animal debris, volcanic eruptions ( and yes they occur every day ). As a matter of fact, scientists cannot even measure the amount of gases belched forth from volcanoes at any given time. I also believe that we as people can do our share to help prevent what is in our power to do. Unfortunatly, it also costs alot of money to help out. On average it costs about $30,000 to re- shingle a house with solar tiles. That is a little pricey for me. And, energy efficient cars are on the rise. Electric cars are well and good but what about the electricity to run them? That is not very efficient if you ask me. Think about the rolling black outs we already have. France might have the right idea. They run about 90% on nuclear power. I thought that wasn't a good thing till I did the research. It's alot safer than you think and cheaper to run with alot less accidents than the refineries. We'll always need oil because of plastics but I think we need to open up our options a little. There are so many different things at our finger tips, nuclear, solar, and wind energy. The only problem is the average joe cannot afford them.
I don't believe in global warming either. According to the weather reports over the last 50 years our temp. hasn't done anything different . The only time it fluctuates is during el nino or la nina.
The news and groups that wan't to scare the piss out of you make more of it than it really is. Do some research and find out for yourself. But, I do believe that we should do what we can to help out mother nature for the pollution we have caused.

Republicans have faith in preserving the area, if its election time and the human beings are in a atmosphere temper. different then that if it hurts the enlargement of corporation and is intense priced then they wont do something, they care extra approximately gaining extra money on the fee of the atmosphere. Roosevelt typical the parks not plenty as an atmosphere subject yet extra with the aid of fact he wanted to shrink the quantity of lumber being taken from forests and to maintain looking grounds around, he replaced right into a huge hunter regardless of each little thing. however the parks and EPA stuff is a amazing pass no count the reason of it. yet once you are able to tutor republicans a low fee and efficent thank you to learn alot of money interior the quick and long term it is environmentaly friendly, they might assist you in it. all of it comes all the way down to money, and how plenty they might get.
