I have recycled all my life.
I keep my car in tip-top shape to make sure all systems work efficiently.
I buy recylcled products as much as possible.
Reuse plastic kitchen bags and aluminum foil when feasible.. Take my own grocery bags to the store.
Whenever possible, I don't buy things wrapped in plastic. Won't buy soft drinks in those 6-pack plastic ring containers.
I buy only organic, pesticide free fruits and vegetables.
I don't buy any produce from California at all unless it is certified organic. They use WAY too much spray - and spread it by plane in the valleys.....
I have been doing this for so long it is just natural.

Can I first say that whether or not there is global warming or climate change, it is only right that we should do everything reasonable to ensure that our environment is as pristine as it is possible. Isn't it better to breathe clean air, drink unpolluted water and eat clean food? To that end we have converted to more efficient lighting and reduced our water consumption by nearly 50% as well as reducing our use of plastic bags by 90%. Not much I admit but it's a start.

What destruction of our environment? Seriously.
Warming is not destruction, and it's likely that the warming is natural. The planet (and the sun, by the way) warms and cools in cycles. Always has. No matter what a fat, bitter politician says.

Letting my lawn grow.
Until I can afford to pay someone to mow it, anyway...
Swatting mosquitoes: they spread bird flu... and when birds die, well, they just stink up the area where they fall out of the sky...
Uhhhh, ok, I eat hamburgers... which encourages the destruction of cows, whom we all know are responsible for burning up the ozone with their methane-empowered belches.
Kicking dandelion heads... so they'll grow everywhere... so I can pick 'em and feed 'em to my rabbit.
Hmmmm..
Oh, and I haven't washed my car in ages... which, of course, saves water.

I just wish people would eat less gassy foods if they are going to ride the elevator at work with me and destroy our elevator environment. Yes its only 11 floors but if they let one lose on the first floor its sure a long ride.

I recycle everything I can get get my itchy little hands on...
I drive a small, fuel-efficient vehicle.
Good thing they make "pump" hair products now (as opposed to aerosol) or else I'd have a hole in the ozone named after me.

I stopped setting fire to people's gas tanks in mall parking lots about two years ago. This has probably helped, but I'm getting bored.
