I wish they wouldn't refer to it as an immigration issue. Because it's not about immigrants. It's about Mexican Nation-
als, slipping over our borders in a frenzy. That may not be
politically correct, but a spade, is a spade, no matter what
you call it. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks
like a duck, it is a duck, for goodness sake!
I've been hearing tapes replayed and political interviews
by people in the news, and it's all coming out now and it is
more than scarey. If the next 'bill' goes thru, and they make all
illegals legal, they will release those in the retaining camps
and possibly even those who were arrested on criminal
charges. And that includes those arrested for rape, and
child abuse, and thefts. I didn't know any of this. In other words
the vermon will be released in the flow. I heard that the cost
of dentention will triple if they wait much longer to pass the
bill. And it's costing more government spending folks. Our
tax dollars are at work, instead of going into some polilticians
pocket. They can't afford that. They might miss a payment
on their yachts or something.
Yes, darned tootin on your question. I would think we all
have had the wool pulled from over our eyes. And a few
years ago, I thought Mr Bush was our saving grace. After
the disgrace Mr Clinton left the oval office, I sure had hopes
for a renewel of respect for the highest office in the land. Now
all countries look down their noses. And we can all be feeling
just a little less secure these days.
I would like to make one felt swoop of my hand and put
all of the politicians out of office, and have all just regular
people sit in their chairs. I mean the farmers, and the school
teachers, and the grocery store managers, and well people
from all walks of life, of middle America. Whos' jobs will
be seeing a major change once we are no longer a nation
of many cultures, but more of one predominant culture. As
once they are enmasse, they will not have to settle for low
wages, but can go to school to better themselves, and maybe
for free, courtesy of the government. They will try to get the
better jobs, and try to phase out those who've been quietly
counting the years to their retirement to get a fat pension.
There are so many scenarios that can happen. People may
be forced to take early retirement as they are now in our
area. But it may become law. After all SS can only stretch
so far. Or maybe by then, there won't be any SS to retire on.
And there won't be any back up money to bail out the next
shortage of SS money either. Even with SS now, people
have a very difficult time living in below poverty level. And
for so many seniors, this is what they have to do now also.
But there will be double or triple the amount needing relief
of some sort. I feel that if that bill passes, my childrens and
grandchildrens lives will be on the line. For it won't be the
America we grew up with, and I don't even want to think of
what form of government we'll even have. Something close
to a dictatorship I would imagine. The signs are already
moving in that direction, when the people we vote into office
are approving bills we have no vote on, and those will
mandate how we are to comply and live. It's time to nudge
our neighbors and make more people aware that haven't
a clue, as they mow their lawns and weed their gardens in
sweet undisturbed oblivion. Strive for a united America and
keep writing your Senators and Congressman and make
your voice heard. We have to keep the pressure on.

He is only using the immigration issue to keep congress busy so that they won't be harping on ending the war. It's just a diversion. Very smart of him for once.

Not really because his immigration bill that he proposed brings about amnesty for the millions of illegals already in our country.

180 degrees. He is supposed to be the president of the U.S.A., not Mexico. He plainly puts the welfare of lawbreakers ahead of the rights of the citizens of this country.

Yes. I am now against him. I was for him, before I was against him. Now, I am the decider, and I have decided that I am not on his side on this one.
