Hello everyone. Recently I've lost about 40 pounds through alot of running. I used to weigh 183 and now I'm 143. I'm pretty happy with those results. While everything seems to be slimmed down nicely, my gut is still there. Anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of it completely? I've heard alot of people say sit ups work but I've also heard that if you do too many sit ups that your stomach can actually get bigger? I used to do alot of sit ups myself but stopped after that because it looked like that was happening to me. So if anyone has any ideas please throw them at me! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bravo on the 40 lbs loss!

The dimensioning gut is a life time effort. Need cardio everyday 20 min - something you enjoy.

Continue to lower your carb intake, which I'm sure you've done already to loose your 40 lbs.

I purchased the AB Lounger as seen on time. Skeptical like most of these over-night quick fix machines; however, this one is a winner. Can watch tv while doing sit ups in the chair. Comfortable , easy , stretch backwards to stretch muscles. Noticed results / girl friend noticed results in 14 days.

You will be sexy soon............ trust me :)

sit ups only build muscle - they do not burn fat- the only fat burning exercise is cardio. try HIIT - it might shift your weight a bit more. just keep doing cardio - it burns fat all over your body, the thinnest layer disappears first (like on your face) and thickest layer will take longer - you cant spot reduce body fat - you will eventually lose belly.
