I'm broke and bored and I have never been to Central Park but heard it's fun so I was wondering what is there to do?

Glad to see that people are well prepared to see me be mugged.

The Central Park Conservancy loans out something called a "field day kit." It's free, and all you have to do to get one is call 212-348-4867. Trust me, there's enough sports equipment in this kit (a basketball, 10 cones, 3 bats, a horse shoe set, a playground ball, a Nerf ball, a football, a Frisbee, 2 handballs, a soccer ball, a jump rope, 2 whiffle balls, and hula hoops) to keep you and every friend you have running around the park for hours.

You can walk around... if you want to go to the zoo, I think it's about $8-$16 to get in...you can go to Strawberry Fields, walk around the Resevoir, play some baseball, sit on a bench and watch the world go by..... rent a row boat (but I think it costs money)

Without spending money, there's plenty to look at: fountains, statues, memorials, etc. Time Out New York has some walking tours.

sometimes they have free concerts in the summer, i've never really been to central park but I pass by it sometimes. if you have a bike, use it for their biking trail, it's good exercise and good scenery.
