Sometimes In football I work out so hard that I vomit. I would like to know a way of not vomiting during football. Is there any breathing methods or anything of the sort of help...

Any help would be nice

There is a theory that when you vomit while working out is because your body is trying to retract the blood from your digestive system to bring it to the muscles.
Do you eat before training? If you do, than try eat 2-3 hrs before training to prevent an indigestion.
Our digestive system requires a lot of blood in order to do it's work properly. So if you workout or do training while a digestion is going, your body will deviate the blood from the digestive system and bring it to the muscles (who also needs a lot of blood while working out). This can be fatal in some cases.

Anyway, talk to your doctor about it. Maybe there is some other illness like Atrioventricular Block, a vascular problem. An Exercise Testing is important to evaluate if you have this condition.

Drink plenty of cool water, but just drink them by sips not too much, to avoid your stomach to get o full.
Taking fresh air may help also, and take a break whenever you feel nauseous

Don't eat before practice and don't drink so much water all at one time, drink smaller drinks, but maybe a little more often so you don't dry out, learn how much water you need to drink at practice, I have had players do that very same thing. Practicing to hard should be avoided if it is to hot, it is easy to get over heated in practice, before you know it you are sick and this is danger-est if you don't slow down don't endanger your life for a sport you love, pace yourself..Be Safe ....Have a Great Time....GOOD LUCK....

I would suggest doing a "cool down" such as stretching for about 10 minutes and deep breathing. For example, if you have run for an hour and a half continously, don't lay down right after. Gradually ease up, and this should make you feel better. Good luck and God Bless

Don't eat for 2 hours before playing/working out. Drink plenty of water!!! And don't overwork; if you're getting rid of (vomiting up) the calories that your body needs to maintain your muscles, then it's going to "eat" your muscles instead.

I was told buy my doctor if you get nausea then take a ibuprofen and drink some milk, but on your case playing football that might not be the greatest idea. Are you keeping yourself hydrated while your playing? I

lol happened to me too. The answer to this is not to eat a few hours before football. Try only drinking water before you get out to mini camp. enjoy.

I don't know for sure, but I've heard that you need to eat small meals throughout the day and drink lots of water...you will lose it in practice if you wait till noon to eat.

Take it down a notch... your body obviously still needs to get use to such strenuous excercise. I'd recommend seeing your doctor just in case anything is wrong.

You might be eating too much before practice?

I know if I stuff myself and then work out, I feel sick... ask your coach or trainer.

dont work out so hard. eat healthier or just take some pills
