My cat had worms and I took her to the vet, and it was about $100, they gave her a deworming pill, and then another one 3 weeks later. Now she doesn't have worms! Def. take kitty to the vet, it is worth the cost, the dewormers from the petstore really aren't that good.

No. What type of worms? Tape worm, heart worm, ring worm, hook worm . . . tons of different kind of parasites lurking around.
Tape worm requires a visit to the vet for meds or an injection, ring worm requires and anti-fungal, heart worm requires a series of treatments but is not always successful and damage to the heart may already have happened that is not reversible.
Antibiotics do nothing for worms.

Antibiotics are strictly used to heal bacterial infections. Never use antibiotics indiscrimately. You will only encourage a resistance to their healing effects.
Anti-parasitics kill worms. Take a sample of kitty's feces and they will scope it for parasites. They will have the best medication to get rid of the worms.

Antibiotics don't kill worms.
Get a good wormer from your vet. The ones from stores only kill some worms not all.

No, you will need a dewormer, and it has to be the right dewormer for the type of worms they have.
Get the dewormer from a vet, and don't use any that you can buy at a grocery, pet or feed store, especially on kittens.
