He stopped eating, but still has tried to drink water though it is vomited.
We inject into his mouth a mixture previously found to help --cola and liver-paste, sometimes just cola. This has in the past helped to get blockages dissolved.
This time, we seem to be running out of time, and it is not clear if it is a blockage or not. We did probe his rectum but found nothing there blocking the exit.
At this time he is getting the haunted look is starting to be unable to move around.
Any suggestions?

Thank you all very much for your interest. Even those that got mad at me for not taking him to the Vet earlier. Thank you so much. I realize that you just like animals. Please forgive me for being poor.
Panda died quietly and seemingly without pain about 5-6 or so hours after this was posted.
He was as docile and sweet as his namesake bear, and kept trying to to the last to dirty only the approved places in the house.
He was buried by my son and I some 50 miles from where we live in a nice location where his grandmother also lies.
So please forgive me for sitting and crying while I write this.

I choose Jessica as the best because she gave me a comforting answer when I needed it and further help too.
Still all of you -- thank you for all your answers, they were all good.

Unfortunately there is nothing that you can do. If you can spend the money, then take him to the vet and they can euthanize him. Although if you don't have the money to, then just stay with him and make his last days as comfortable as possible.

I would get him to a vet. There's really nothing that seems to be working under you care anymore. The vet can get him on an iv or something to get him back up and walking. If there is blockage then the vet should be left known of this or you suspect that tell him or her. They'll be able to help you more than just people on here to begin with. I hope he pulls through ok. Just get him to a vet asap before it really is to late.

Stop playing vet and get the dog to an emergency vet clinic--what you have and haven't been doing is not making things any better and if a dog cannot take water- he/she can be dead within 48 hours depending on the size of the animal.
Please get him to a vet tonight.

Suggestions?
Yes, I have one. Its a very simple remedy and MUST take you about 60 seconds after reading this answer if you don't want to loose your dog.
Pick up the dog. Put in car. Drive to vet.
If you care about your animal, you should take it to the EV right now. Not tomorrow... not in an hour... and no, you do not have time to fix your makeup. Get the dog and go.
60 seconds from this exact moment you should be on your way to the vet.

GREETINGS, I am surprized you didn't take him to the vet before now. That's what you need to do. Who said it was ok to give the dog cola??? Does it have caffeine in it? That's not ok. The haunted look is dehydration most likely, and since he's not eating, there is a major reason, most likely something is blocked, kidney failure, liver failure, etc. He needs to be seen pronto.

You need to take him to the vet. It sounds like he has kidney failure. With out a vet "flushing" out his kidneys, he's going to continue to get worse, and thus will result in a road there is no coming back down!!

PLEASE TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET, the humane society is very good and not as costly if they have a hospital, don't think you should be shoving anything down the dogs throat or doing a rectal, no one here is qualified to give you a remedy, only the vet

A vet would be a good idea. Even if he can't help solve the problem, he could end the dog's misery rather than letting him lie and suffer.

I would suggest that you take your pup to a vet now! If your vet isnt open take him to an emergency vet. I really hope that he will be okay! Good luck! : )
