You said "shex." That alone (besides the fact that sex is clearly the priority here) tells me you shouldn't be in a relationship.

Taking it slow is no necessarily a bad thing. However, if that was the first thing you thought of upon hearing this then obviously there is no love here. Your love would keep you around no matter what the circumstances. Sex is not everything in a relationship and its highly overrated. If you really believe that you can't handle taking it slow then maybe you should end the relationship before you hurt his feelings or worse break his heart.

It sounds like he is interested in getting to know you first. Most of the girls on this site would really appreciate having a guy like that.
If you want to skank around then maybe you should let him go so he can meet someone who shares his interests.

It isnt a "NEED" you wont DIE if you dont have sex.It is a desire. Also if it doesnt work out and you end up pregnant then what genius? There's been many girls on here saying they didnt intend to, but got pregnant and then they found out their b/f was a doper a drunk abusive liar cheater etc etc etc.Use your HEAD to make decisions, not your genitals hon.
