My puppy is 7 weeks old on his way tot he Emergency Vet. He was fine until about 2 hours ago. He began to act withdrawn. We went back to check on him , he was gasping for air and he is foaming at the mouth. Any ideas

I think you should wait and see what the vet says b/c it could be a number of things...i.e. parvo, reaction to food, allergy, reaction to medication, illness breeder did not inform you of.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

could be many things don't get upset with what people may say.
Like foaming at the mouth could be rabies I sincerly doubt it.
Just wait to see what the vet says. Again it can be many things several not bad at all. i'm glad he is already on teh way and I hope everything will be ok.
I will pray for you and your pup.

The one time I saw my dog foaming at the mouth she had a food allergy that flaired up. Also he might have drank or ate something posionous that can cause them to foam and drool excessivly sometimes.

you cant let pugs get to excited. rough playing for a
long time or running or if they were upset or scared
they start to have breathing problems. because of
their noses you have to be really careful with them.
i hope your puppy is OK. when you bought the dog
someone should have told you about this. also be
really careful if you give them a bath. you cant let
any water by their nose because they will drown.
the water goes right in and cant get out. hope your
baby is OK.
