It's a domestic short-haired brown tabby. This one has an adorable face, though. I would name her Mischief because she looks like she is looking for some trouble to get into.

This may be a mountain domestication. They are common
near farms. Years ago there were fans of a mix of orange stripe,
and an all white persian. The result was gold, and when they
got away into the mice, they got good at hunting. The truth about small cats is be careful they are serious hunters. When I
find this type, I place them in the suburbs for true mouse prevent.
The fact is though it is gross, they either hunt birds or mice.
Orange will hunt both. That is there boss species. Their attribute
can attract large cats. To tell if it is safe, take it to the water
in a natural area, if it drinks, baths or trots along the shore it
will be fine. Give it all day when you have the time to maybe
fish or take pictures for a few hours. Keep it in the open where
a kitten is visible, don't leave it in the water.

Felinus Ultracuticus!
As everyone else says, without seeing the ears it just looks like a tabby domestic shorthair who happens to have a really sweet face.
The reason I even mention the ears is because its face looks very similar to the Scottish Fold type. If you're looking for that type of large-eyed, owlish face, you might look into that breed. Good photos of Scottish Folds are at the site below. The ears: you either love 'em or hate 'em!
FYI: Those who are saying it's a calico or tortoiseshell are incorrect--definitely a tabby coloring.

She looks like a tabby. Is she colored all over that way, except maybe white feet and a white stomach? If the colors just splochy
then shes a Calico. Thats just the coloring though, either way shes an American/Domestic Shorthair.

It looks like your average American Shorthaired Tabby. It does have a very cute face, though.

You really can't tell without seeing its body structure and the shape of its ears. It looks like a common 'Alley Cat' ( that's pronounced with a French accent ) That's how my mother used to call them.
