GREETINGS, first off sounds strange but has anyone that you know or knew died recently? Sometimes cats can see and hear things we cannot. I have 1 cat, Bigfoot, a long haired male the size of a poodle that will walk to a corner in our living room and look up at the wall and meow and chatter away, sometimes even standing on hind paws like he's putting front ones on something not there. He also has in our one hallway, growled and circled nothing while my other 3 cats ran and hid under the bed. I chalk it up to him seeing things from the other side. I would not force her to go in there, let her go on her own when she is ready. For my cat, what I do when the others spook and Bigfoot is upset growling is I go sit right where he's circling and that ends it. You might try going in that corner and sitting with treats or something but it's probably nothing to worry about. Just to be sure, I would take her to the vet for an eye exam to be sure she's not having cataracts or something.

The female will not hide out in the other cats areas. The
age is first year she can have kittens. A pet cat will protect her
space by growling at other pets. You need know she naturally
wants healthy kittens, and not right yet. The walking her
outdoors will help the most. A long extendable leash for a
dollar is a bargain at dollar stores. I triple attach cat leashes
with a second unbreakable lead line and another connect line.
There is something about cats don't domesticate entirely, also
going to pet clubs for interaction will tame her very nicely.

First, make sure no one is lurking around your house at night. Scary, I know, but cats are very perceptive. There have been cases where cats saved their humans from psychos and burglars, just by going bonkers whenever the stranger was around.

If you're secure, check out what in the corner is causing your cat to act like that. Could be a wierd smell or something. Cats do have sharper senses than humans do.

Some animals can sense ghosts or evil , if you have a dog or another cat bring them into the ares of your home the cat seems to respond to and see what there reaction will be. If it is the same get some professional help ( a priest ). Good luck.

Have you changed anything recently in these rooms? Could you possibly have a little field mouse in your house? Carry her gently, talking in a soothing voice, around the room to show her there is nothing to harm her there. She'll get over it.

Normally, for a cat to all of a sudden start acting funny, there's some kind of health problem. We had one that did that, and it turned out that she had gone blind. It's definitely worth bringing her in for a checkup. Describe exactly what she's doing to your vet so he/she has some idea what to look for. It sounds like she's having some kind of sensory issue.
