its just sometimes i feel like guys arent attracted to me because i do have confidence, and not arrogant confidence, its just that im not embarrassed of my flaws and i dont hide them.

shyness could be hot and confidence is hot too. Depends on what you prefer. I like shyness better.

It depends a lot on what WE are looking for... For example, if we're looking for a girl to "hang out" with (no strings attached) or what some people call "a one night stand" ( I hate that term) then being confident and sure of yourself is not a problem.. The thing is that guys want to have a sense of control and power in a relationship... and someone very confident and sure of herself can be intimidating... It also depends a lot on what you think being very confident is...
Personally, I don't mind if a girl is very confident and sure of herself... shyness is kinda cute.. but kinda boring at the same time... Conclusion: WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE LIKE OR WANT...

Confidence is very kewl. A confident person will draw others to them, no matter what they look like. People tend to like being around those who are confident and sure of themselves (not arrogant).
Being shy is okay (I am) but it's not particularly appealing (to me or many others). There's an insecurity there of some sort. Shy people can also be hard to talk to and often not very adventurous....somewhat high maintenance.

Yes confidence is very important to me personally. I find that women who are confident in themselves are willing to be a little more open with their feelings and are usually more of risk takers. It is hard enough for us guys to figure out ladies to start with. So usually a shy woman we have no clue on what she is thinking because she will not share it with us.
that does not mean I would never date a shy lady. I would be willing to give it a shot with the hope she opens up more in the future. But if it went on to long then I would probably eventually give up on the relationship.

Well for me i like a very confident girl cause im the out going type. if a guy is shyer maybe an overconfident girl isnt right for him. But no confidence at all is a major turn off.

I am a very confident female and I do scare off many a man. But to tell you the truth there is a man out there who loves the confident no crap taking female I am and I would wait for that then be someone I am not.

I can only speak for myself, but confidence really matters to me. I understand and get that when I first meet a woman she is going to be apprehensive and nervous around me until she realize what a heck of a guy that I am.
That being said, she needs to be confident where she seems to be open, gregarious and approachable. Shy women are fine, but often give off the air of inapporachability and give off messages to stay away from her.

It is fine to confident and proud of yourself. If you want to let a guy know you like him though, you have to be a little flirty along with confident. I find confident woman very attractive because to me it shows they are not an easy woman. They are complicated and unique.

Okay, here's the straight deal. Shyness is fun because she's hard to get. It's a challenge. Guy's like winning, so they like challenges. Once he wins, the challenge is gone, she's not as fun anymore.
Confident girls are always a challenge. I've been married for 3 years, my wife is still a challenge. Confident is much better. It's healthier, and it leads to healthier relationship.

Girl....confidence is the sexiest thing you can put on. Shy girls miss out on the great guys....because us confident girls know what we want and aren't afraid to get it......Confidence is only overwhelming when it becomes arrogance.

I think like minded people are attracted to each other. Outgoing confident people will not be attradcted to some one who is shy.
But a shy, reserved girl is very attractive to a guy that is also shy.
