I know you really dont order cereal in a resturant, but i was just wondering WHY cereal is so expensive...

You're right! Cereal is Stupid expensive!! I'm talkin' boxed in the grocery store. The packaging (box printing, etc..) actually cost the manufacturer more than the cereal itself. But they have to make the boxes all colorful & pretty so the kids will beg mommy for it.

It has definitely gotten more expensive and the box has gotten smaller! (Although maybe now it just better matches the actual amount of cereal in the box!)

Well, a serving costs about 20-30 cents, but since that is a meal, the restaurant has to cover all their overhead for the time you are there.

I think it's becasue everyone buys it. It's easy and kids love it so people pay the price.

idk, i went to a place and for a small box of cereal it was like 3 bucks which isnt alot but for cereal it is
