It's hard to be in long distance relationships, but it is possible. Thanks to computers and the internet, it's even more possible. You can use webcams to see eachother and mics to hear, but it's still gonna be hard. About two of the three years i've been with my boyfriend were long distance years. He tried to come up to see me as often as he could, but it was usually just a weekend every 4 months or so. We fought and we had some rough times, but we made it through. Try to talk to eachother at least once a day. One thing we did was talk on the phone until we were ready to fall asleep for maybe a half hour every night.
Good luck!

First, make possibly sure that it is worth pursuing, nothing is more worse than being with someone you dont want to be with thats far away. Understand that you will have to make some sacrifices. Make time to talk to each other and always call your girlfriend at least everyday or some form of communication. If communication is all you have, make the best of it. Make sure you guys have alot of trust between each other, it will make the situation alot easier. Make plans to see each other. Basically, two things can happen, you either find out it isn't going to work, or you will work it out and grow a strong relationship, hopefully the second 1. lol. Best of Wishes!

1. Make sure that your voice is the first voice she hears in the morning. The memory tend to linger throughout the entire day.
2. Just call her in the nght to say goodnight and that she was thought about during the day.
3. Send her short spicy emails or text to let her know that she's special to you. Mke sure it makes her smile though.
4. Think of something you can occasionally do togethewr despite the distance.

How can it work? One of you must move in and give up something. This is what I have done to make my relationship work.
Long distance relationships are very difficult. There is an issue of intimacy. There are times you need your partner to be physically beside you and feel secured. This is important especially for women. The physical intimacy (not necessarily sex) is important to bond the relationship.
