I totally understand. BUt like some people ask questions they dont know like "what is the theme song for Smallville" htan someone answers....than that is helpfull
Buit like people have personal bias on a typical subject like... politics. If you are going to ask a question like "Do you like Bush" and if the asker is a 100% Bush hater than most likely they would choose a person who have the same views...
It kind of depends

Be common in getting via this communicate board. don't be intense with regards to the way the main suitable answer is chosen and a few scoring is made. right here, not all are interested in each subject count. for all the subject count of their very own interest the human beings who pass to, examine, comprehend and fee the respond - their expertise, adulthood on the difficulty etc does counts which variety to a extensive volume. lots of the individuals are infants and that they pass speedy in answering and fairly some a time mindlessly answer that are out of context to the question asked! maximum of them are actually not intense and honest in giving their maximum suitable answer nor they're honest to delight in and award the score to the coolest and significant solutions! That is definitely true in some categories. If people are asking a philosophical question, they are going to pick the point of view they like the best.
But in other categories where the person is looking for specific information, I often see them pick the most detailed answer, or the first one. I think that's where the model works best -- they are picking the answer that is most helpful to them.

Actually, they pick the answer because they are asking a question that bothers them. If they knew the answer, they would never bother asking the question in the first place...would they? Who has that kind of time?

You are only picking the answer that you felt was the most helpful. You are right though, most people pick an answer that isn't necessarily the best, but mirrors their own opinion.

not quite...some people are looking for the answers based on the merits of the answer itself...one might tend to choose his/her favorite answers based on his personal believes or conceptions...but, if the answer were directly running counter to my conceptions i'll re-consider my points of view again...
