I know it will itch if I shave it, but if I just trim it a bit so it's less wild, will it still itch? I mean in the next few days/next week.

ok well i've got a yes and two no's. I've heard that it does itch because the ends of the hairs are soft naturally but if you cut them they 'end' at the middle so they're hard and scratchy. I'm also talking about cutting them with scissors, not with any special equipment.

It really depends on how short you trim it and what part of the "garden" you trim. If you trim the part nearest you're the top of your pubic bone it will itch as it rubs against your underwear. If you trim the more "intimate" parts they shouldn't itch as much.
I believe it's important to "tend to your garden".

No. Pubic hair itches when it is growing out from being shaved. The only reason it would is if you trimmed it and didn't immediatley shower, just like after a haircut when it gets in your shirt and sticks to your neck. Definetley trim things up.

i'm not a guy but in my experience, it depends how short you cut it (plus what kind of undies you wear). if you trim it really short and wear briefs the hair rubbing against the fabric will itch. if you just trim it a bit it should be fine. if you wear boxers it should be fine. i would think, though, if you trim it pretty short (like stubbly short) it would itch rubbing against your junk.

mine doesn't
i trim it almost to the skin.
but if it does, carefully dab a little moisturizer & that helps me a ton, especially if the lotion is really cold :p

Don't shave it - you will thank me later for that advice. Don't ask me how I know either.
