My husband is thinking about going back into the Marine Corps, when he ended his 4 year active duty they were building new housing units and they had regulations for pets. Does anyone know if you are allowed to have pets? Thanks in advance

if you're talking about camp pendleton...the brand new houses here SUCK. they have no friggin backyards and that is just NOT acceptable. i mean, why would they build houses with no backyards?!? sure i understand that they are trying to make the houses bigger and more comfortable, but still no yards? that sucks. almost everyone i know that lives on this base hate the fact that we have no backyards. anyway about your pet question...some people say yes to having pets in the new houses. but to *my* understanding, there were 3 pets allowed. but i'm not sure. i have two little sissy chihuahuas that wreak havoc around here. i still live in a housing area that allows pets =)

no longer many Marines stationed on military (feet Belvoir) or Air rigidity (Andrews) bases. Quantico is the Marine base close to Washington, except he's particular shelter at 8th and that i. Being a pit bull, and being seen a vicious animal in lots of factors, you is probably no longer waiting to have the canine. be conscious that once you pass away the backside housing unit, you're able to pass an inspection for cleanliness and damages.

depends on the base and the type of housing. some do, some don't. and all on the same base.

generally speaking: 2 pet maximum per unit, no exotic animals and certain dog breeds are forbidden.
