No.

Everybody develops, and in 5 years you will be done w/ these people and never see them again, so who cares what some dumb kids think. It'll happen when it happens.

Not really. The start of puberty depends a lot on genetics and hormone levels in your brain. It is partly dependent on nutrition though- low protein, high fiber (like vegetarian) diets will slow down the process. A very high level of exercise will too, to an extent. Part of what your body needs is a normal level of body fat so exercise and inadequate nutrition work against that. But if you are eating a healthy, calcium rich diet, getting adequate sunshine (vitamin D) and otherwise relatively healthy, just sit tight. If you feel like something is physically wrong, then definitely check it out with your doctor.

I know it's hard- I've been there too (I was one of the last girls in my 8th grade class to get my period). But it finally happened, and it will to you too! (Some day you'll even wonder why you were in such a hurry.)

It's just a natural thing. You'll get yours when your body is ready. Don't start taking the pill or anything without talking to a doctor; your body isn't ready for the extra hormones of the pill yet. Trust me, when I was in high school I had a girl friend who didn't get her period until sophomore year, and then over the summer she became the biggest busted girl in our class! Don't sweat it; it'll happen when it does :)

No, you cannot.

But being extremely skinny does tend to slow down the process a bit. The "experts" say that a certain amount of body fat is necessary to get the process going.

Do not feel bad. I have had large breasts from age 11, and it made me very uncomfortable. Just be patient, and understand that the persons you envy may be feeling self-conscious too!

well everyone's different, hun. some girls go through puberty when they're barely 10 :P

others...when they're 13.
there's nothing wrong with you.
and you shouldn't worry about "speeding it up"
just take what comes to you.
you'll be just fine.

DON'T RUSH GETTING OLD, HONEY, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU, LET NATURE TAKE CARE OF IT'S SELF, YOU'LL GET YOUR PERIOD SOON ENOUGH . ENJOY NOT HAVING TO DEAL WITH IT WHILE YOU CAN. YOUR BODY WILL DO WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. UNTIL THEN ENJOY BEING "THE KID".
