Vanilla. It was one of the first scented candles sold around Cape Cod way back when. My grandmother and uncle taught me it is the best fragrance for "killing" bad odors, like fish.

We also have a lovely fragrance called bayberry.

There is a candle made by Henri Bendel in the scent "Fig". It supposably voted the best smelling candle a few years ago. It's available at Bath and Body Works. I love this candle! It has a fragant light scent. I had no idea a candle named "fig" would smell soooo good.

The best smelling candle is definitely Gold Canyon candles. There are over 100 fragrances to choose from, so you will find the one that your heart desires. All of the fragrances are super awesome. One candle is enough to fill the entire house or office. My favorite is pomegranate.

I have been a long time user of the Yankee Candle. The best smell that they have made is the Clean Cotton! It smells just like clothes fresh out of the wash! I have one in my kitchen, bathroom by the tub and a car jar in my SUV. Yankee Candle makes many different varieties of their many fragrances. They have candles (of course), car freshners, insence sticks. Their stores are in malls and you can even find a good selection at Cracker Barrels.
