No, it's not. And I'm beginning to think that it's absolutely hopeless to find a guy that actually knows when to goof off and when to take a conversation seriously.
You are not being a pain in the butt. You deserve attention, and you deserve to have conversations about more than what he saw on Sportscenter earlier or stupid things he and his guys did when they were out drinking the night before.

lol, I just got rid of one like that and he's 55. So, it may not get any better with age. And, not it's not asking too much but it IS a pain in the butt to him because maybe he likes living in Shangri-La and not having to ever be serious.
