This is one of those times that I wish I was bald....this is how bad I have treated my hair.

Okay so I dyed my hair black and then decided to bleach it. Well it didn't turn out the way I wanted so I beached it again with the same unsatisfied result. I bleached it one more time and still didn't get the result I wanted.

So now my hair is really damaged. It is mushy and it breaks. I hate having it wet and it takes forever to dry. I have tried everything from hot oil treatments to leave in conditioner. The hot oil treatments seem to be working a little bit and I have since chopped off most of my hair. (It is spiky in the back and most of the hair in the front can fit behind my ears. I also have bangs.)

I need to know if there is something else that I can do for my hair. Someone told me to put baby oil on the damaged parts. I don't know what else there is to do. I told someone today that I would pull a Britney Spears and shave my head so I could wear a wig.

I really need your help!

Quit coloring your hair, wait about 5 years to dye it again, leave your poor hair alone, hair dye has bad chemicals in it that kill your hair.

First for shampooing and conditioning I reccomend:

Healthy hair tips:

Cut ALL of the damage off, only way to get rid of it

For serious treatment go to your hair stylist so she can give you a good treatment.

While shampooing massage gently with fingertips slowly and gently this is how your hair breaks/falls out if you do it roughly, shampooing the tips of your hair isn't necessarly only the scalp is, then rinse with warm water.

When your conditioning don't condition the roots, start where your ears are at, leave conditoner for about 1-3 mintues, comb your hair with a wide tooth comb this will prevent split ends from happening then rinse with super cold water.

Whule brushing/combing be super gentle

Drink lots of water so your hair and body will be healthy.
If you dye your hair, atleast do it once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals in it.

Buy a leave in condtioner so your hair can stay moisturized all day long

If your in the sun alot, use a hoodie or a hat so your hair wont get damaged from the sun.

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb

Don't wash your hair everyday, try 3 times a week

Don't use a heat appliace while hair is wet (curling iron, blow dryer etc) hair is soooo vulnerable while wet.

If you have split ends tell your hair stylist to cut your hair short so you won't have any more

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks

Deep conditon once a week

For a hair treatment I suggest Alverto VO5

well first of all, dont' wash your hair alot. just twice a week is fine. the water and the drying will make it worse, adn plus shompooing everyday is just Bad it tears your hair.

1. put olive oil and mash bananas in the microwave for like 40 seconds. and massage it into your hair. then wash it out.
see how it feels a day later.

2. since your hair has been seriously color treated, and I'm thinking your hair is mushy blonde. use matrix colored hair brand, It's purple and buy the conditioning mask.
put it in when you just start to shower and the last thing you do is rinse it out. so it has like ten minutes to really get into your hair. you can do that with any kind of conditioner actually.

3. don't cut your hair, but maybe a trim for bad split ends. just half an inch.

4. for when you are drying your hair, don't blow dry it, cuz it's like ten times worse. but try to wash your hair at night. (that's what it do) because this way it can just dry by itself.

good luck in rejuvinating your hair

Honey, when the hair is damaged there is really not much you can do! I did the same stupid **** to my hair.... coloring it like a thousand times does not help and I ruined my hair as well ! the only thing you can do and I and everyone else out there that ruined their hair is wait for it to grow out, keep getting it cut as it grows out so it doesnt keep splitting and breaking more! Do not color your hair anymore-it'll only make it worse! Bleach is the worst thing you can use in your hair because it strips your hair of everything that it has-that is why it breaks so much ! What you can do to keep your hair soft, etc. is keep deep conditioning it, I deep condition my hair every night! Doo Gro deep conditioners work really well-they sell them in most drug stores in the african american hair products aisle and put that in your hair every night before going to bed and put a shower cap over it and leave it onl ALL night! and wash it off in the morning, also Infusium 23 shampoo/conditioner works really well- once I relaxed my hair cuz my hair is curly too, and my turned into elastic, and Infusium 23 SAVED my hair..... Just keep this up and it will help and stick with it, try not to use too many products in your hair either. Always use a leave-in conditioner after you wash your hair as well.

Redken makes a really good treatment called Cat. Its in a blue bottle. You can actually get shampoo, conditioner, and a leave in. This works miracles. Its a bit pricy, but in my opinion worth it. You can go to salon and have treatments done also. Just leave it alone for a while so it can grow and you can gradually cut the dead off. Sorry there isnt a instant fix. Just have to be patient. Good Luck

Biosilk Silk scientific care is super for broken hair, my hairdresser instructed me to apply it once I have been given my hair permed. additionally seek for a hair care line specifically for broken hair. i could advise utilising the two a salon high quality shampoo or purely utilising a moisturizing conditioner to rinse your hair with. the reason I advise an more suitable high quality shampoo is an incredible sort of the huge-unfold shop manufacturers can unquestionably strip your hair too a lot, whether they are categorised as moisturizing. attempt the extreme line from Redkin, it quite is made particularly for extremely broken hair. Plus their Anti-Snap bypass away-in scientific care is impressive.
