Okay so my brother is 26, 27 in a month. He is a manager at a local grocery store but still has a bmw convertible. He has been having money problems and is moving in with a friend to help his situation and to save some money. He always talks highly of himself and he actually gave up looking in the mirror for lent. He goes to a local tavern EVERY day to get something to drink.
Would you go out with him? If not please give a reason why....my family and I are trying to help him change. thank you!

aside from the fact that i don't know him, well, i'm married, so no i wouldn't go out with him. is he depressed? if he's depressed then he needs to get professional help. going to the local tavern and having one or 2 drinks a day isn't really a big deal, but if he's going there and getting drunk every day, then there's a problem. i don't think that having a girlfriend will change that, though. and about the trying to change him thing. that has to be something he wants to do himself, so even if he is depressed, he won't get help unless he really wants it. good luck with your brother. i hope all works out well.

Maybe he IS too self centered for dating. When he feels alone enough he will decide to give things up for the right person. Thats not up to you.
If he can't get dates in the usual ways tell him to try internet or phone connection services like lavalife or friend finder Maybe theres someone out there who likes a quiet drink each evening and riding around in his b'mer.convertible Ask him if he would consider going GAY cause that sounds fun to me (only kidding, I'm spoken for!! )
But I found my true love that way and we've been together 9 years now. There is someone for everyone. DONT JUDGE

no, sorry i wouldn't. at 26 years old if he is moving in with a friend, there is some sort of a problem. maybe he is gay and wont admit it. i don't want to know him.
if he can't manage his money better than what you are implying, i don't want to know him.
if he drinks daily, i don't want to know him.
if he is so vain as to talk about himself so much, i don't want to know him.
he needs to grow up and then grow up some more! most women don't need or want a male in their life, they want a man! your brother doesn't cut it!
