From the symptoms you describe, he is very sick and may not want to eat. Take him to the vet already!

This dog is sick!!!!
Take him to the vet.
Did you change his food abruptly? A five year old bully will be stubborn but they do not have diarrhea or vomiting unless they are sick. If a bully doesn't eat then the first thing you do is have the vet check him out for goodness sake.
Where did you get this fella from? If you got him from a breeder call them...if from a rescue group...call them. If you got him from the newspaper get him to the vet NOW!!!

I would recommend taking the dog to the vet. It could be separation anxiety or stress over being in a new home, but regardless if he's having diarrhea and vomiting, he could get dehydrated if this does not get under control. Best of luck with your new dog :) They can be difficult and stubborn, but they are well worth the work :)

he seems very sick. He may be just adjusting to the new food. Whenever you change their food they have to go through a period of uncomfortable adjustment.
I'm pretty sure your dog isn't showing passive-aggressive behavior. Diarrhea points to sick! You should give him the dog food, don't make ur own if you're not sure about the nutrients he needs. Consult your vet.

You have had him to the vet since you got him to rule out parasites or other health issues?
You should feed a good quality adult dogfood.. Forget wet foods, feed him a good kibble.
Dogs aren't defiant when it comes to food, if it smells good, and he's hungry, he'll eat it..

He's not defiant, he's sick. Diarrhea and vomiting will lead to dehyration. It could be an intestinal bacterial problem, but you really need to get him to a vet and have him checked out so they can give him the correct medicine and diet.

They don't vomit because you are not spending time with him He is sick and you need to take him to the vet. He could have parvo which is deadly. He could just have a flu bug. Mine had vomiting and diarhea when I got her from a breeder then she started passing blood She had hook worms which is easily treated.
