I'm looking to replace my old one. I've found a few already. However, some have a small round (not oval) divit and the description says it's for dipping sauce. What dipping sauce do you need with deviled eggs??? And others say microwave safe. Who microwaves deviled eggs. These are clearly only deviled egg platters. Can someone explain something I might be missing after all these years??

I think it would be a neat idea to use this type of platter for
stuffed mushrooms - I never really thought of other uses for an egg platter but this would work great wouldn't it. I don't dip
deviled egg but a horseradish sauce would zip them up for
something a little different.

They are very good with ranch dressing for dipping. I don't think they meant to microwave the deviled eggs. It meant the glass plate was microwave safe.

Beats me! If they don't mean for you to microwave the devilled eggs, why make a point to say it's microwave safe? And I don't dip mine, either.
