The attacks and fear will only get worse if u don't treat it. I suffer from these attacks but I try to keep my mind to the goal or quickly distract myself. Sometimes though the distraction could be too long such as watching TV and being on the Internet, wasting my time. If u can't step outside, though I suggest u should, I think u should call the closest friend/relative u have and ask them to come over and take u out. I also suggest u goto the doctor's during that time, if u can't do it alone. If u cannot do the above, then I'm sure u can pull out the telephone number of ur closest clinic/hospital and aske them for a counsellor u can talk to. The counsellor will make u feel at ease and give u the encouragement u need to do the steps u do. You can e-mail me for futher help if needed, though I'm sure u can pull through with the steps above. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

I have them, but mine come on from driving in heavy traffic or bad weather, or places I don't know well. So I know how you feel. I avoid driving if I can. But, you can't avoid leaving your house. So that's alittle worse I think. But, sometimes I just have to do it. After I'm doing it, and have my attack, it doesn't seem as bad as I was thinking. I make it much worse than it actually is. I know that but it's still hard to control. I just grab a coffee and my smokes and that helps. Take something you like along for comfort, maybe that will help you. Good luck.

You have Panic Disorder. The problem is Biological in origin,
not psychological. You need to see a doctor. With proper medication, you can get your life back. Left untreated, your agoraphobia will become very debilitating.

I agree with the other person who said it sounds like Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia. Go to a doctor.
