Nope, Mike is correct. We would have to stop using energy. In fact, I think I'll skip to the end... Once emission are cut to zero, we will have to redress our wrongs by growing large cultures of Algae to cover the places we now live, and then stop outputting Carbon Dioxide from our lungs.
Think Nuclear again!
Cheers!

I don't think anyone has gone totally green... at least no one I know has.
There are a lot of things you would have to give up, but there is something to be said for "back to nature". When I grew up, we had no running water, indoor toilets, etc. My mother heated our bath water by filling a big galvanized washtub with water and setting it out in the sun to heat naturally. In the summer time this was the only way to heat bathwater. We might have several tubs out at once heating in the sun.
In the winter, water was heated using a reservoir built in to a wood burning stove. Bathwater also had to be shared to save water. ugh! So the least dirty kids got to go first. Sometimes we would dip in the creek behind the house to get most of the dirt off first.
There are all kinds of little tricks to replace ways of doing things. Grow your own food, preserve it yourself, etc.
Use onion peels and beet juice along with vinegar to dye your Easter eggs, other natural things work too...Just use your imagination.
The main thing is that you have to be willing to give up the convenience you are used to in order to live a more natural, green life.

While Mike paints a negative picture, I would like to say that we can all make a difference by doing the little things:
Use energy saving appliances
Shut off all appliances when not in use
Go back to drinking tap water (yes, hard I know, yet it is safe)
Short, quick luke warm showers
Walk or take public transportation when you can
Recycle, recycle, recycle
Cook more often, stop buying pre-packaged everything
Try to grow your own spices, a few fruits and veggies.
Let's make this a better world for future generations!
Please, everybody needs to take responsibility!

In order to go truly green you must reduce your output of co2 to zero.
You must stop heating your house.
You must get rid of all of your motor vehicles by crushing them. You can't just sell them to someone else or you are an enabler.
You must stop heating water. That means you must learn to bathe in cold water.
There is more, but I will let you complete the tasks that I have outlined for you before I give you the rest of the requirements that you must meet if you want to be truly Green.

I'm afraid that green does not go well with my skin tone or eye color so I will have to pass.
