Me and my ex have been broken up for 6 months but he sais now he's regrettting it more then ever..yet he's with his gf they've been together 5 months..and he said she's being a ***** to him and blahh and now he's telling me all this stuff..but why wont he break up with her? Hey Girl, Some harsh reality is required. You can do much better than this slug.
When a man is deeply in love but separated from you, he doesn't have another gf... that just doesn't work. The letter is bs. He wants pie... and he doesn't care who is the baker.... so he will say whatever it takes to get it... but it is an amateur effort on his part.
My thoughts.. as a man who has been there. If he meant any of that stuff, he wouldnt have made a little note.. it would be bleeding obvious.

Do you love him? Was it good when you were with him? Or is it something you should just learn from and move on? If you think it is something you'd like to give another shot then he needs to show that he wants to do the same by breaking up with his current girlfriend...if not then please protect your heart and no matter how badly you want to "try" again you need to respect yourself and that other girl more then that. You can start by putting your foot down and asking him to stop taking you down memory lane by texting you as this in a sense is allowing him to kinda be flirting with you therefore be unfaithful to her (not cool) none of us would like our man doing that to us (karma is a muthaf@cker) and move on don't except calls, return calls or texts. But if he does leave her for you then give it your all and hopefully it was meant to be if not then at least you know you tried right :)

Because he is playing you. He is using you for a back-up in case his gf kicks him to the street. Don't believe his lies.
Your last sentence says it all -" if he loves me so much why does it have to be this way?" Because he doesn't love you...he loves himself more and is afraid of being alone. You're his back up plan.
Move on and stop taking his calls, textes, whatever. Just move on and find someone new. Forget about this loser.

Sounds like you have to bury this relationship and consider it dead and gone. Go on with your life and tell this guy that you have gone on without him. Tell him you hope he finds someone new he can fall in love with, besides you. Sounds as if he is testing the waters to try to trick you into getting back into a bad relationship.

that's a cute message, but are you sure he really means that? have you asked him what he meant by that? He has a girlfriend and likes you too, i think he's player and he isn't good for you. He does this with you when he has a GF now what will he do when he's with you? We gotta think in every direction when when it comes to giving your heart to someone.

I think you should go back with him IF you love him. If you do send him a message saying "I will, if you break up with your girlfriend 'cause I WON'T be cheating with you"
If you don't love him send him a note/message saying something like "I just don't think it was meant to be. I'm sorry you miss me so much, but I don't feel the same way about you. We could still be friends."

i'm sorry but if he really wants u back then he has to come get u. that means he has to break up with his girl but if he breaks up with her what guarantee do u hve that he won't later feel the same way bout the other girl and finally go back to her? think about it.

he's trying to keep you on a string in case it doesn't work out with his girlfriend. i had a friend that used to keep "back-up" boyfriends. she would tell them that she liked them and send them dirty pictures so that they would stay single in case she broke up with whatever guy she was with at the time (they didn't know she was with anyone). don't fall for it. find a nice guy and forget him. there's a reason he's your ex. good luck.
