Infection from contaminated needles, the same as having them done at any time.
Being pregnant makes it no more risky than any other times, it just means you have the baby to worry about if something does go wrong

I think the main reason that it is ill advised is because of the risk of infection. Though most people do not have any problems with getting a tat infected the big thing is IF you do. It is just better not to risk infection of any kind when you are pregnant. There will be plenty of time after the baby is born to get a tattoo.

Besides the risk of infection, you do not want the tattoo to stretch as you gain weight, even if you think you get it in a place that won't stretch, trust me it will.

I never heard that. There's nothing wrong with getting a tatt when you're pregnant as long as it's done with a clean, sterile needle. I'm 3 months along and in the next few months I'm going with my brother and we're getting the tattoos our dad has.

You can get a tattoo when you are pregnant.
It is not a law....it is a medical suggestion.
There is very little risk. It's more about the
hep B thing. Talk to your doctor.

The risk of infection is a needless risk to take and you're gonna have that kid a long time so be cery conservative in caring for yourself. You'll be glad you did and so will your offspring.

It's a precaution...........in case you choose the wrong place to
get you tat.
If they are unclean, it could affect your child.
So, don't take the chance...............wait til the main event.....
you may even change your mind til then.
