For the clueless: IPA is the abbreviation of India Pale Ale. Not actually from India, this ale gets its name from the 1700s when beer could not make the voyage from Britain to its colonies in India. To preserve it better, brewers increased the hops during the brewing process, as well as the alcohol. Today, we enjoy IPA styles for their bitter citrus hop flavors and the quicker alcohol buzz.
My top picks:
Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA (Delaware)
Founder's Devil Dancer IPA (Michigan)
Bells Two-Hearted (Michigan)
Bells Hopslam
Three Floyds Dreadnaught IPA (Indiana)
Russian River Pliny the Younger IPA (California)
Great Divide Hercules (Colorado)
Dark Horse Crooked Tree Double IPA (Michigan)
Stone Ruination IPA (California)
Or if you really wanna go balls-out, try Dogfish Head 120-Minute IPA (21% abv).

Bell's - Two Hearted Ale - Kalamazoo, Mi
Breckinridge - Small Batch 471 I.P.A. - Somewhere in Colorado
Sierra Nevada - Bigfoot Ale - This is a barleywine style ale, available again in Oct. - Not technically an IPA, but very hoppy.
New Holland - Mad Hatter - Holland, Mi
There are so many to choose from. I can't list then all.
I am a huge fan of the I.P.A. When you've tried a lot and you find the one you like the best, consider trying to home brew it.

So many good ones...
I've always had a slight preference for the UK ones such as Fuller's.
If you're wanting to stick to domestic, I have to second the vote for Breckenridge Batch 471 Double IPA. Although be prepared for the hops to kick you in the teeth.
