I'm different than the other girls at my school.
I'm smart and arty and athletically lacking. I dress nice looking but not always what's in style, I prefere to be comfy than stylish. I'm not goth or girly or anything, I'm just me. I only have 1 best friend. Never had a boyfriend.
The other girls are slutty, wear well, revealing clothes. Most of them are sporty. None of them enjoy art like I do. They have tons of friends. They always have a boyfriend and won't stop talking about "Oh so and so is dating so and so, and so and so looks so ugly".
I don't want to be like them but I want to know, can a girl like me be just as good or pretty or well liked as them? Or am I doomed to an unsocial life.

Whoa girl! Back the self-depreciating train up! You are WAAAAY better than any of those scuzzy girls. Smart, arty - you sound like a stylish free-thinker to me!
Listen, when guys are young, their hormones are so out of control they'll gawk at anything with a belly-button ring and low-rise hip-huggers. Even through college, it takes their brains a while to adjust. But once they calm down, and the "humping dog" phase mellows, guys will start looking for a smart girl like you they can have a serious relationship with.
What I'm trying to say is, don't stoop to the level of the sl**ty girls just because you crave guy attention. Be patient. Your time is coming!

You'll only end up with an unsocial life if you let it stay that way. Sure, you want to avoid those girls that aren't the kind of friends you'd like to make, but join clubs and such -- that's a great way to make friends! Does your school have an art club? Anything like that is a GREAT way to make friends. Theatre is another thing I reccommend! I was recently in the play, and became friends with a bunch of people I'd never even known before! The whole idea is to make sure that you meet people. If you don't make a big enough effort, you might be missing out on some Great friends!

Be yourself. Don't change. If you change, you'll be with the wrong guy and you'll be lying to the guy because that's not you. There are guys that are like you out there and they will be very happy to find you. Not all guys like slutty girls who where revealing clothes. That does turn some of them off.

I can tell you're more beautiful inside and out
than any of those girls.
Just be patient someday a boy will come along that wants a real girl, a girl like you and he will be worth waiting for.
Take care and keep being just yourself, It will pay off.

Dont try to be like them. Be who you are and believe me once you are out of high school, jr. high, or whatever and get into college or just out into the world you will find people you connect with. you are just as good, pretty, and no one hates you right? that makes you well liked. End of story.

you arent doomed for an unsocial life.. but you may be as good and pretty as they are now.. you just keep it preserved and not flaunting it out there like they do.. it truely isnt pretty when they flaunt and in your own way you can be as well liked as them, its just they are ... well they arent what you should want to be

Guys in middle school are really dumb... don't try to be like those other girls! Soon guys will notice you... and realize that those dumb girls are mean! One day, you'll probably be their boss.
