there's this hot guy that lives in the same building as me. I haven't really talked to him but I really want to go out with him. the problem is every time I get around to talking to him I get really nervous & walk the other way. I don't know what to do or how to get him to talk to me.

you can talk about anything, just be random if you have to...like talking about cheese. or you can be observant, find out what he is into, research it if necessary, and then start a casual converstaion about it. go for it girlfriend! dont be intimidated by the way he looks.

When you see him next, don't see him as a really hot guy you'll love to go out with, see him an ordinary guy who is someone you can easily talk to like a Liberian or a sales clerk or even someone who works in a grocery. Why? Because changing your thought pattern will help you get over the shyness. When you feel yourself freezing up, just take in a couple of deep breathes and approach him with confidence, say "hi, my name is ------ and just wanted to introduce myself since we are neighbors. Do the whole shack hand routine if you want and say well, I need to get going now, so we'll talk again soon." I'm sure once you break the ice it will flow naturally from there.

Just make up something example u want to set up a Lan network in the whole building and ask him his views and in the process take his email! once u do that send him mails n stuff bring him to chatting, then get his number then ding dong understand!
