Depending on how you carry the baby some women start to show at three months. I am a nurse and I started being bloated looking at two months believe it or not haha I was shocked because that's not what I was taught in school... it isn't that the baby is that big, but the uterus is already expanding and the combination of constipation and bowel displacement can start to push that tummy out!! Be supportive of your friend, it's hard to go through body changes!

twelve weeks pregnant is like saying 3 months- and we are only pregnant for a little over 9 months so that has to happen sometime what this means is that she is carrying high, and old wives tales will say that she is packing a girl! another factor is although how gross it sounds that she could be constipated so she might want to try drinking plenty of water

Just remember that every pregnancy is different. I'm not certain about your friends particular situation, but I'm sure this is probably normal for her. Be sure you encourage your friend to keep in close contact with her OBGYN if she is still concerned. I do know that when a women is in the beginning months of her pregnancy she often retains a lot of extra fluid - just the way God made it! I'm sure things are fine. :)

well thats the first trimester(first 12 weeks) and everything will feel tender, as the second trimester (12-24th wk) comes along,it will be a different story altogether...don't worry its normal but if she can't get to sleep worrying about this then its best to go to the gynae for a confirmation

No clue but she needs to see her OB right away. If she doesn't have one, she need to contact the health or welfare folks. Seriously!!!

it's normal, but if she's concerned, she should call her ob/gyn for a professional opinion.
