Bush sending thousands to die in any war.
Money paid to illegals. Is like sending money to the poor of the downtrodden countries. If we did not have illegals we would have poorer countries and more reasons to give aid to those countries. The Money would still be gone.
We went to Iraq for the wrong reasons, but the Men and women fighting there are not fighting a meaningless war. If we took them out tomorrow the middle east would be much worse. We should not have gone in at all, but because we did we need to fix the problem we created.

Let's see... ivading a country against international laws and principals of American democracy based on lies and fabricated information, while diverting the resources from hunting down terrorists and squandering close to a trillion dollars...
is being compared to...
People who come here to work the jobs nobody would do otherwise for the pay, allowing to save us, the consumers. Their only fault is... comitting a victimless crime by breaking a meaningless law.
Show me what money we pay to the illegals that they didn't earn? They are not eligible for public assistance, medical costs for emergency rooms are tiny if compared to the same costs caused by uninsured citizens or entitlement program recepients, education is not a handout, taxes are indirectly paid by employers on the cash they are paying to the illegals. What money are you talking about?
If the illegals get the work done cheaper, why is it so hard to understand that everyone else benefits from consumer savings or higher income for the bussinesses.
And only terrorists benefit from the stupid war... nobody else.

There is nothing alledged about the money that illegals cost American taxpayers, we do fund their freebies. Even the amnesty bill will end up costing about $100,000.00 per Illegal, that is multiplied by 20 million, really probably closer to 50 million if all stuck their heads out of hiding to be counted.
I propose my own bill with regard to the Iraq war. This bill is Democrat friendly and they can sign on because they are so sure they know what they are doing. The US will set a date for withdraw of our fighting forces and will leave NO ONE in that country. Not police, not logistics, not anything, just as the dems want it. If after that date violence among the sects breaks out, or there is a civil war, or if the Middle East is further destabilized then every Democrat in Congress will immediately resign and forfeit all claims to retirement or other monies from the government. If the US is attacked by terrorists after this date, every member who voted for the bill will be executed as a traitor for aiding and abetting the enemy. Very simple wording and a good lawyer can work it up so there is no wiggle room, no way out.
Now, if the Democrats are so sure they know what is best then they will sign on immediately. If they really have the courage of their convictions they will sign the bill and get our troops home just like they promised their voters. If they will not sign on to it then they lose the right to debate the issue further and must allow us to go in without strict rules of engagement and wipe out the bad guys including those from Syria, Iran and any other little kitty litter box country in the region.
What say you Democrats, Do you have the courage of your convictions, You are pretty mouthy and loose with words when they affect the safety and well being of our troops but are you willing to put a plan in place that places you in jeopardy, of course not!! The do as I say, not as I do thing.

Don't minimize the cost of Illegals in this country. we lose 90 Billion a year to Illegals. And thousands of Americans die at the hands of those same illegals every year. Illegals Kill more Americans than Bush ever did. This War was brought on us. We didn't want war. Muslim Extremists started it. Mexican Illegals are an occupying invasion of America backed by a foreign Government. It is an act of war. If Mexico wont stop we should invade back.

Sergio, both are bad, but illegals is dividing our country.
Seymour Lipset, who is a historical scholar, put it this way: "The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.' Canada , Belgium , Malaysia , and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."
Patrick Henry declared,“Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall. Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs.
Unfortunately, with the huge amount of illegal, we are divided in language, in culture, in patriotism, in the end, USA will cease to exist.

This is one heck of a choice. The war takes first place and immigration is close second. However long range the immigration thing can eat our lunch. Short term the war already is.

Are those the only two choices?
What about the money they waste on "pork barrels"?
I bet they pay senators and congressmen more for their "business-related" trips and expenses than what we know are spent on the war &/or illegals...

What's worse, 150000 Americans invading Iraq to 'help' the Iraqi people by ridding them of a dictator, or 12+ million illegals invading America to 'help' the American people by doing 'jobs they won't do?'
I'll admit that, as an American, I'm biased and find the 12 million foreigners in my own country a bit more alarming than the few hundred thousand of my countrymen serving overseas.
