You will receive a ticket if you are unable to produce a valid driver's license if pulled over. Of course, they are able to pull up the data on your license, but they are most likely to provide a ticket since you do not have it, unless you are pulled over by an understanding cop who will give you a warning.

Best advice, use a lunch break or explain to your boss that you need to get away for a few minutes. Get your replacement licenses and then have no fear.

No, in fact when you received your driver license, your identification card became invalid. If you are pulled over, you will be ticketed for not having the driver license with you. You can apply for a duplicate at the DMV, and I suggest you make time for it, if you are involved in an accident, your insurance will not cover you either without your license in your possession at the time of the accident.

If you are pulled over, I would think you will get a ticket. Then you may have to find time to go to court and show them that you have gotten a replacement license. Maybe on your lunch hour or something? What about calling the DMV and see if you can request a replacement over the phone? Good luck.

Generally, it is very possible to get a ticket, but a lot of factors can help if you get pulled over.

yes, as long as you hold a valid license, whether its on your body or not, you are allowed to drive. in my state, if the cop wants to be a jerk, he will make you show him the license within 48 hours. otherwise, he will send you on your way to the dmv and tell you to not get caught again.

why get a temp why dont you just take time off to go get it done period. You could end up in big trouble and then you will have to take off work so just do it right and no more excuses.

Its illegal to carry 2 IDs to begin with, at least in Mn. Considering the fact that you are female, chances are you will be OK. They can just run it and see that you are legal. Should get it taken care of anyway, if only to alleviate some stress in your life.
