I got tickets to a theatre that was just put out of business. Is there any way I can get my $$ back? The business and it's owners are broke -- but will credit card insurance reimburse me?

I know that I had a similar situation. When using my Visa or Mastercard, I was able to do a "DISPUTE" on the item. The credit card company returned my money and notified the person I paid telling them they had 30 days to resolve the issue or I get to keep the money. Try asking for a dispute with your credit card company...even if it was a credit/debit card thru your bank. Good Luck.

You can contest the charges on your credit card, if the theatre closed BEFORE the show date.

Contact your credit card company for details.

You can try. Call your credit card company and find out how to proceed. It won't be a secret that this place is out of business, so they should be able to do something for you.
