When I was 19 I left the UK to work in my Sister's bar in Greece, The pay was poor but the lifestyle was fantastic. Now I've returned to the UK 4 years later, are there any authorities I should tell?, because I haven't appeared on a UK record for years

You should get a medical examine just to make sure you dont have crabs or any foreign diseases

If you are British you are entitled to come into the country and stay. Technically you don't even need a passport. Now it depends on what you want to do. You will need an NHI number if you have not got one so you will have to register for that and if you work you will need a tax code so you will have to register with the inland revenue for that. If you already have these then you don't need to do anything but your tax code may be out of date

Well if you are going to find employment you will need to notify the Department of Employment (or whatever they are calling themselves this month) The Department that deals with income tax will have to know so that you can get a tax coding. Good idea to register with a GP as well

I don't think so if you left without saying. I'm sure they will let you know if you need anything. As far as i know you never lose your NI so your sorted.

You will always need a passport. Your a human being, british or not you still need a passport. Even more so in britain now than ever had been. Tony Blair want to keep an eye on you!!

you may want to pay some national insurance but thats up to you its not a requirement.
